More about me

Beyond the qualifications on my CV, I have also learned how to help other people achieve more in their lives through some of the experiences I have been through and through some of the lessons I have learned on my journey so far.

I am committed to making a positive impact in people’s lives and find fulfilment in supporting those who need it and so I have always worked in the Helps service.

I trained originally as a Radiographer and worked for 15 years in that field.

I relocated to the UK 28 years ago (a huge Life change!) and re-trained as a Sonographer and worked in the NHS for some years.

I had to stop working for some years to become a home carer for my young son (another huge and scary change and season!). When I felt the time was right, I registered for a counselling course, having developed an interest for it during my days as a Sonographer.

Over the years working as counsellor, I have come to realise that clients, during and after their counselling, sometimes require coaching to help them move forward.

While counselling is a licensed profession that helps individuals and families heal and process past and present hurts, Coaching, especially Life coaching starts with the idea that a person is on the road to, or is already whole, and wants to focus on the future.

For that reason, and my passion to help others, I decided to train as a Life coach. A Life coach assists clients in setting and achieving goals, so they can grow, develop and reach their full potential.

At various stages of my life’s journey so far, I have been blessed to have had the support and help of good-hearted souls, who helped me to leap over the hurdles of change, seasons and experiences. So, I have been there myself, I come from a place of personal experience and awareness.

I hope to make to positive impacts in the lives of those who would like some coaching at this time. Each of us needs the appropriate and sufficient help to get us motivated and moving forward at significant stages of our lives.

In my spare time, when I am not counselling or coaching, I am involved in some charity and community work, and some volunteering.

About 10 years ago, I started learning how to play the drums… surprised myself! It was a self-care move, and I love it even though I am not the best at it yet! I am now getting the help I need to move to the next level! I know I can do it…

It took me a while to summon up the courage to start my coaching service, but here I am now…

You can leap forward too…

I am an introvert, and thrive in one-to-one or small groups. I am not a great fan of parties and public speaking, but over the years, I have received coaching that is helping me overcome my fears, and has helped me to act in spite of my fears. This is why I believe my coaching is effective. I’m very familiar with the hurdles that my clients come up against—because I’ve been there myself—and so I teach what I know from a place of deep personal experience and understanding.
